Per the owner:
We decided to buy this property because of everything we knew about the
Caribbean. It was the place we liked the most, quiet, beautiful beaches
and places, away from the hurricane zone, without security problems, we
walked around the island at any time and no one ever bothered us...really
a paradise. That's why we wanted to make sure we had an apartment for one
week a year to enjoy…. The Divi Phoenix apartment is located in an
incredible location, right in the central part of the complex, the
balcony overlooks the pools and the sea.
By having this property you can redeem and enjoy the week in other places
where Divi has its Apartments, we have been to Curacao, Bonaire, Saint
Maarten….it is a property that has a lot of possibilities. But the most
important thing is that the family is assured of their annual week and
their apartment.
(We also bought the week before 17th, which we are still paying
normally). Many years we spent the fifteen days, sharing one week on one
island and the other week on another…..or the fifteen days in Aruba).
For the apartments we have, we are paying the corresponding expenses.

de todo lo que conocimos del Caribe fue el lugar que más nos gustó,
tranquilo, bellísimas playas y lugares, alejado de la zona de huracanes,
sin problemas de seguridad, caminamos por la isla a cualquier hora y
nunca nadie nos molestó…..realmente un paraíso. Fue por eso que quisimos
asegurarnos de tener un departamento de una semana al año para
disfrutarlo…. El departamento de Divi Phoenix, está ubicado en un lugar
increíble , justo en la parte céntrica del complejo , el balcón mira a
las piletas y al mar.
Al tener esta propiedad se puede canjear y disfrutar la semana en otros
lugares donde Divi tiene sus Departamentos, hemos estado en Curacao,
Bonaire, Saint Maarten….es una propiedad que tiene un montón de
posibilidades. Pero lo más importante es que la familia tiene asegurada
su semana anual y su departamento.
(También compramos la semana anterior 17, que aún estamos pagando
normalmente). Muchos años pasamos los quince días, compartiendo una
semana en una isla y la otra semana en otra…..o los quince días en
Aruba).
De los departamentos que tenemos estamos pagando las expensas que
corresponden.

Hotels usually sleep 2 adults per room, whereas the average timeshare units offer multiple private bedrooms, sleeper sofas and sometimes even bunk beds - adding value not calculated here. Timeshare properties are condo style units that contain all of the comforts of home... and then some!
Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
Timeshare total cost includes an increase in maintenance dues each year of 3%, as well as an estimated $1,000 in closing and transfer costs. These are estimated and will vary by state, county and resort.
