Mountain Place Resort

Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Mountain Place Resort is only 11-miles from Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Bordering the resort is a public 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player. The Ober Gatlinburg recreational complex includes facilities for skiing, year-round ice-skating, and an alpine slide. The ski area, open December through mid-March, has an 800-foot vertical drop, four slopes, five tow ropes, and three chairlifts. Other amenities include full kitchens, in unit fireplaces, in unit laundry facilities, children's activities, and a beautiful pool area.
