Ever since I was in my teens I used to vacation in Tahoe. 3-5 times a
year. The Lake Tahoe area is by far one of the most beautiful places in
the world. After visiting the North Shore and Incline Village I
absolutely fell in love with it. The best beaches on the lake, beautiful
turquoise water and towering pine trees. Spending a week there in
December is the best. There are 5 ski resorts within 45 minutes of the
Tahoe Chaparral.
Diamond Peak is a 3 minute drive
Mt Rose is a 16 minute drive
North Star is a 24 minute drive
Heavenly is a 42 minutes
Alpine Meadows is a 42 minutes
The filtered views from the living room of the Lake is so peaceful! There
are several very nice restaurants within minutes. Shopping for groceries
as well for your full kitchen. We love going to the Big Water Grille just
2 minutes away. But our favorite is the Lone Eagle Grille right on the
lake and only 5 minutes away.
Sand Harbor State Beach is about 12 minutes away and one of the most
beautiful beaches on the Lake.
There is so much to do, or just sit looking out the window and make your
meals yourself.

Hotels usually sleep 2 adults per room, whereas the average timeshare units offer multiple private bedrooms, sleeper sofas and sometimes even bunk beds - adding value not calculated here. Timeshare properties are condo style units that contain all of the comforts of home... and then some!
Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
