Per the owner: This Vacation Village Parkway timeshare is a single owner, fixed, deeded, annual usage and ownership week. This means that you have full access to week 17 annually for personal use or as a rental income property.
The suites are clean and furnished slightly above average for a timeshare with remodeling and upgrades done on an ongoing basis. The purchase of this timeshare includes two spacious, lock-off suites (A and B), that share a common entry foyer. Each suite has its own controlled access. The two suites combined are 1,500 square feet. Each suite sleeps 4, has their own bathrooms, in-room safes, balconies, Cable TV’s. Suite A is considered to be the master suite. It has a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a dishwasher, an oversized tub and walk-in shower, with its own private whirlpool. Suite B is the smaller of the two suites and has a comparably stocked and equipped kitchenette. Linens and towels are provided with weekly maid service or daily with a nominal fee. Washers and dryers are located on each floor.
The exterior of the resort feels like a tropical oasis. It is immaculately maintained with lush tropical greenery and flowers. There are daily poolside family activities and an indoor Activity Center. Site activities change daily but may include - pool aerobics, bingo, scavenger hunts, trivia and face painting. There are 2 gated kids splash pools; 6 heated family pools and hot-tubs. There is also a large outdoor playground and an indoor arcade and game room. There are BBQ grills and picnic areas along with fitness and business centers. I personally liked walking through the complex on the two elevated nature trails.
While staying at the resort, you are able to go to the Arabian Nights dinner theater. Grocery stores, fast food and fine dining restaurants as well as cute, often quirky coffee shops are a short drive away. One place I highly recommend to visit is the downtown area of the Celebration Town Center. There are two main streets that offer dozens of retail shops, boutiques, gift stores, carriage rides and one of a kind eateries. Overall, the resort offers the best in accommodations and both indoor and outdoor activities.
With Orlando as being home to seven of the world’s top theme parks it is considered to be the No. 1 family vacation destination. There is a daily round trip shuttle service to Walt Disney World from the resort which is a lifesaver after a long day at the park. During your free time, local attractions are a short drive away. They include - Aquatica Orlando which was voted the number one waterpark in the country by USA Todays in 2022. There is also Universal Studio’s Florida & Island of Adventure, iFly Orlando, Gatorland and the Crayola Experience all a short drive away.
NOTE: Vacation Village at Parkway is no longer actively selling timeshares. This means that in order to own one of them, you must acquire it from an existing owner, through a broker or a resale firm. I have owned this deeded property for many years but because of my age, health concerns and travel restrictions, I am not able to use it.

Hotels usually sleep 2 adults per room, whereas the average timeshare units offer multiple private bedrooms, sleeper sofas and sometimes even bunk beds - adding value not calculated here. Timeshare properties are condo style units that contain all of the comforts of home... and then some!
Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
Timeshare total cost includes an increase in maintenance dues each year of 3%, as well as an estimated $1,000 in closing and transfer costs. These are estimated and will vary by state, county and resort.
Total savings does not take into consideration the added benefit of a timeshare unit having a spacious living room, washer and dryer, dining room and full kitchen, all of which add value and potential savings when you have the option to do your own laundry and enjoy a home cooked meal instead of dining out.
