Per the owner: This is an amazing resort to stay at! Great amenities and
terrific service. In years when we chose not to stay at our timeshare, we
enjoyed the ability to deposit this as two weeks and travel anywhere in
the world. It gave us the flexibility to have access to two separate
weeks in a suite in the various countries we have traveled to and allowed
us to stay in some very interesting locations and communities. Having a
timeshare provided us with cost savings by staying in a full condo with
all the amenities (and sometimes more!) of home. It allowed us to buy
food in local grocery stores and prepare some meals while having the
ability to eat out when we wanted to. It gave us a home base in some
amazing locations and was a great investment.

Hotels usually sleep 2 adults per room, whereas the average timeshare units offer multiple private bedrooms, sleeper sofas and sometimes even bunk beds - adding value not calculated here. Timeshare properties are condo style units that contain all of the comforts of home... and then some!
Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
Timeshare total cost includes an increase in maintenance dues each year of 3%, as well as an estimated $1,000 in closing and transfer costs. These are estimated and will vary by state, county and resort.
