Per the owner: Our timeshare week is in the middle of the summer vacation
season with countless activities available on Hilton Head Island. Our 2
bedroom townhouse unit is in a shaded area directly overlooking the 7th
green--very quiet and peaceful. We are less than a one minute walk to the
pool/clubhouse/pickleball court/putting green and playground. There is a
hot tub and several gas grills on site. Two loaner bikes come with the
unit and the beach is an easy 5 minute ride (there are literally hundreds
of miles of paved bike trails throughout Hilton Head as well). Storage
lockers for beach gear are available as is a snack bar. Added amenities
include complimentary golf and tennis--The Van Der Meer Tennis Club is a
mile away. Our timeshare at Spinnaker has been the home for many pleasant
family vacations over the years.

Hotels usually sleep 2 adults per room, whereas the average timeshare units offer multiple private bedrooms, sleeper sofas and sometimes even bunk beds - adding value not calculated here. Timeshare properties are condo style units that contain all of the comforts of home... and then some!
Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
Timeshare total cost includes an increase in maintenance dues each year of 3%, as well as an estimated $1,000 in closing and transfer costs. These are estimated and will vary by state, county and resort.
