Per the owner:
We originally bought this timeshare due to its incredible location and
access to world class skiing at the Beaver Creek Resort. Just steps away
from the Westin Riverfront Villas is a gondola that will whisk you away
to the Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express Chairlift. Once you dismount,
you have the entire Beaver Creek Mountain resort to explore. Once the
property was built, we were amazed at the incredible amenities the actual
2 bedroom unit had to offer. Luxurious and comfortable beds, a spacious
living/dining area and an incredibly well appointed kitchen. But equally
appealing is the access to the Westin Riverfront Mountain Resort, which
offers high end restaurants, a year round heated pool and spa, and a very
well appointed spa and fitness center. In the summertime, this resort has
a wonderful biking/hiking trail that borders the property. We love
staying at this resort, no matter what the season!

More information on our formula...
Hotels usually sleep 2 adults per room, whereas the average timeshare units offer multiple private bedrooms, sleeper sofas and sometimes even bunk beds - adding value not calculated here. Timeshare properties are condo style units that contain all of the comforts of home... and then some!
Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
Timeshare total cost includes an increase in maintenance dues each year of 3%, as well as an estimated $1,000 in closing and transfer costs. These are estimated and will vary by state, county and resort.
Total savings does not take into consideration the added benefit of a timeshare unit having a spacious living room, washer and dryer, dining room and full kitchen, all of which add value and potential savings when you have the option to do your own laundry and enjoy a home cooked meal instead of dining out.
